Organization Events and Luncheons
We promise stellar pensions and benefits for active retirees, and superb career development programs for current employees here at United Steelworkers Local 1013. Our union is stronger when steelworker retirees are involved as activists, advocates, and volunteers, which is why we established the Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees (SOAR) in 1985. SOAR has been integral to our union’s mission by helping defend vital programs like Social Security and Medicare, protecting steelworker pension plans and more. The Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees (S.O.A.R.) is open to all active retirees and their spouses. Check this site for upcoming organization events and luncheons.
